Direct measurement of motion
@Motion of the mirror shiftwas directly measured using a dial guage.
@The dial gauge was attached to the face of the perimeter of the mirror, and measurements taken. (refer tothe SHUMIKASE focus outline figure)

With this improvement, the shift is reduced to about a third in the C11 and to about half with the C8.

Handling
@Having first loosened the guage screw, it is focused by the "Focus" knob.
@Once focused, the screw is tightened.
@The focus shifts for a time.
@The time to focus is measured over a few times.
@The trick is to find the place where the Focus knob doesn't move and it stays in focus.
